PGT: Genetic Testing of Embryos

60-second summary

PGT means testing a few cells from an embryo made by IVF, to look for chromosome or gene problems before it is placed in the womb. It can help some families, but it is not perfect and not needed for everyone. A genetic counsellor and your fertility specialist can help you decide if it suits you.
